Established on the Parisian rue de Seine in 1982, Jousse Entreprise exhibits and promotes important, architectural furniture created between the 1950s and the 1970s.
For more than thirty years, gallery owner Philippe Jousse has contributed to the growing recognition of designers such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Georges Jouve, Mathieu Matégot, André Borderie, Alexandre Noll, Serge Mouille, Roger Tallon, and Jean Royère.
Jousse Entreprise has published important catalogues on the work of Roger Tallon (2012), Georges Jouve (2006), Mathieu Matégot (2003), and Jean Prouvé (1998, 1999).
Jousse Entreprise comprises two galleries: one located at 18 rue de Seine in the 6th arrondissement of Paris dedicated to furniture from the 1950s and also from the 1970s; the space at 6 rue Saint-Claude is dedicated to contemporary art.
